An Introduction to Plant Medicine Retreat
February 22nd - March 1st, 2026 | Puerto Escondido, Mexico
Ignite the Spark Within
This 8-Day Wellness + Plant Medicine Retreat is for the soul seeker craving something deeper. Maybe you've done all the “right” things—followed the path, checked the boxes—but still feel like something’s missing.
The truth is: you're not broken. You may simply be disconnected—from your true self, from nature, from community, or from something that is larger than yourself.
La Fogata was created to be a turning point.
A sacred space to remember who you are, reconnect with what matters, and reignite your inner fire—so you can return to life with clarity, energy, and intention.
"The warmth around the fire, with the stars shining in the open sky, and the company of the people next to you, is a reminder of the true human essence that was always there but we slowly forgot"
The experience
Day 1 — Landing
You are finally in Puerto Escondido.
This first day is all about arriving—in your body, your breath, and this new environment.
We’ll ease in slowly, share our first meal, and help you settle into the rhythm of the week.
There’s nothing to prove and nowhere to rush. You’re not here to perform; you’re here to be.
Days 2–3 — Adventure + Connection
Now that everyone’s landed, we start to open up—through movement, laughter, and connection with nature.
We’ll train on the beach, hike through the jungle, and reconnect with what it means to feel alive in our own body.
We close this phase with a
Temazcal ceremony, a traditional sweat-lodge experience symbolizing release and renewal.
It’s a moment to clear space—physically, emotionally, energetically—for whatever’s next.
Days 4–5 — Ayahuasca (Yagé) Ceremonies
These are the heart of La Fogata.
Within a safe, intentional space, guided by an experienced Taita and facilitators, you’ll meet the medicine.
Each person’s journey is unique—some feel clarity, others emotion or resistance. All of it is welcome.
You’ll be supported before, during, and after every ceremony.
Our role is to hold you through the process—not to direct it, but to ensure you’re cared for as it unfolds.
Days 6–7 — Integration + Reconnection
After ceremony, we slow things down again.
Through movement, journaling, sharing circles, and time in nature, you’ll have space to process what’s come up—at your own pace.
Integration isn’t about “figuring it all out.”
It’s about listening, allowing, and giving your experience room to settle.
We’ll be there to help you translate insights into grounded awareness you can bring home.
Day 8 — Closing + Departure
We’ll gather one last time over breakfast to reflect, share, and honor the week—exactly as it was.
Some will feel open, others introspective; both are perfect.
This final morning is about gratitude and gentle closure.
You’ll leave with practices, support, and a deeper relationship with yourself—wherever you are in the process.
Because the work doesn’t end when you leave; it keeps unfolding, one breath, one choice, one spark at a time.
